Throughout my life, in the last few years, I've felt there was something missing; something significant that would help make sense of the world around me and provide guidance. I knew I needed something to believe in and trust in, something more primitive and connected to the earth itself. I've always been a more spiritual person and longed for the feeling of being grounded.
I recently found myself adopting a lot of the Wiccan beliefs and rituals and celebrating the Sabbats feels natural and real to me. I feel I am much more true to myself and can rely on something more than just myself to trust in. Wicca has allowed me to open myself to so much more than the now and made me trust in mother nature and the bigger picture.
The lesson I learned was trusting in my own intuition to know what feels true to me and what feels right. And not to care what others think of my beliefs.
How about you guys? Anyone else had a similar life lesson?
Hope you all enjoy my blog homework this week!
