They always say it's not what you know it's who you know. And this is how I started working with my dad when I was 13!
My dad has an alternative/ gothic shop that sells soooo much!
Working here was such an awesome job to have! Selling clothing, incense, Buddhas, ornaments, bandanas, smoking stuff, the list can go on and on.
Also in the last few years working in the piercing studio!
It opened 22 years ago so nearly as old as me! And started out really hippy!
I worked here for 9 years! And everyone was like family ( who wasn't 😂)
Halloween was the busiest for us and the most fun dressing up! But even at Xmas we made the effort!
Wish I had pics of me when I first started, my sister next to me and dad at the end :)
This job taught me so much, and the only reason I left was to focus on my own business!
