The last few years held some of the biggest changes I have faced as a human. 2 years ago I stopped dying my hair, this might seem trivial but I have not had my natural locks since I was 13. My natural colour as I have always decided looks the colour of a street rat. I thought I would hate the transition but embracing myself as I am, starting with the trivial creating a shift in thinking.
I have always been riddled with insecurity and this change of mind, came with it a change of heart.
A few years back I also decided to cut soda from my diet. By doing this this alone, I lost a lot of weight and I don't suffer the tiredness that comes from the sugar highs, I know my body thanks me for this choice.
A very stressful event in my life triggered a series of really bad physical reactions and I came to realise the important of looking after your mind. Your body and mind are not mutually exclusive. I ensure I get enough exercise to combat stress and keep fit.
@missy and @rambo asked what we do to keep healthy and if you take anything from this blog. Look after your body because you aren't getting another one. X
