So.. being from South Africa it's not often that you come across someone famous. That being said I feel like I hit the gold mine with the person I met.
I was walking though the mall on a Saturday afternoon, hair unbrushed, buying a rain coat for the Foo Fighters concert that night.. As I was leaving, low and fucking behold I saw Dave Grohl striding towards me. He had passed me and when my brain caught up I approached him and asked for a photo. I couldn't manage much more than that, I was a little star struck (Taylor Hawkins was not far off) We took a photo and he went back to trying to be inconspicuous and I left with the hugest smile on my face, knowing I had shared a little moment with an absolute legend.
