So I talked a little about me going back to school. I have tried 2 other times so far in the last 2 1/2 years. I got out of the AirForce back in 2017 and started school about a month later. I had everything set and was ready to go. After about 2 weeks my anxiety got really bad and I stopped going to class altogether. I decided to get a full-time job instead of going to school. About a year later I thought about going to school again, I got everything ready and started. I had to miss one class and once again my anxiety got so bad that I couldn't go back to the classroom. So I stopped going completely.
Two different schools and my anxiety was so bad that I couldn't go after 2 weeks to each of them. Thankfully I have my GI bill, so I didn't have to pay for the classes.
After working shitty job after shitty job for the last year I decided to try again. This time I felt like it was different, and after my first two classes yesterday I feel like this is going to be different. I am going to a larger school this time, that also closer to my house. The only thing I don't like about it is that I am the oldest person in all my classes. But I do fit in with them because I look closer to 18 then 25.
I will be sure to keep everyone updated on this journey. I am hoping this will also help make sure I finish this time!
If you have any tips for me with school I would love to hear them!
