I believe that the most useful thing I have is 'Resilience'.
In physics, Resilience refers to the ability of a material to withstand impacts of temperature and pressure, to deform to the extreme, and be able to recover and return to its previous form.
This term, in psychology, represents the ability of an individual to deal with problems and adapt through changes, to survive traumas and move on. And that’s an individual's resistance, not physical resistance, it is the positive intention to reconstruct itself without losing its essence and thus, evolving.
My life in the past few years has been quite turbulent. I lost many people and things. My family, my home. I found myself several times completely alone, and thinking about giving up. But all of this strengthened me. Today I understand that we can’t control everything in life, and that’s fine! I only have to give attention to what concerns my mind and my soul. And although I was disappointed with a lot of people, I did not lose faith in humanity. I also understood that I can’t expect from other people the same attitudes that I would have, because each person is a universe, each one has different views because they had different lives and each one has their own time to understand things.
I have always valued the simple things in life. Now, more than ever. Every day is precious. Always stay in the present, without stressing too much about what didn't work out, but making new plans instead.
I will leave three songs that I love about time and simplicity:
Dust In The Wind - Kansas.
Time - Pink Floyd.
Simple man - Lynyrd Skynyrd.
