It has been awhile since I took a vacation, so my most recent one at the end of June was much needed. I had gone to Las Vegas and Utah. It was a double header type of vacation. First off it was my first time in both Vegas and Utah, I had gone out to see family and a wedding. I stayed 3 day in Vegas, where I got to see Caesars Palace water show, Omega Mart, Planet 13, Freemont street, fun bars and giant mechanical dick.
Omega Mart is wacky as all hell, it is part of Meow Wolf and reminds me of a Salvador Dali painting. Got food truck tacos which were amazing, and Chinatown is definitely the place to go for food. I went most nights there for dinner, Ramen, Sushi, and was able to try Korean BBQ. I did fun looking cafe's for breakfast or lunch, and one night ate on the strip for a treat. Mon Ami Gabe is a french restaurant under the Eiffel tower in the Paris hotel, which had amazing food, the berries were fresh and meals cooked
perfectly. Then of course dressed up and went partying at night, walked around both the strip and Freemont street. I got beads from a chip and dale dancer, saw live music and watched men ride a mechanical dick😆😆.
I then drove 2 hours up to Hurricane Utah for the bachelor party, and to meet up with the rest of the wedding party. spend a couple days in a condo, lounging by the pool, and going to hike in Zion. We hiked the canyon overlook trail that day and it was beautiful. I would like to go back and hike the other trails. It is a lot of rocks and dust though, but worth it for the views. I wish I took more photos of the views, but oh well. Halfway through the week everyone headed to a villa where the wedding was taking place. I spent the rest of the week leading up to the wedding helping out and getting everything set up for the wedding.
So it was about a 10 day long vacation, and was ready to come home by the end of it. But I had a lot of fun, I was able to relax and see new things.
