Happy New Year. In Tibet they celebrate it as Losar. This year is the Female Fire Hog Year. That has a kind of powerful ring to it doesn't it? Oh sure, if you were born this year and you were to have an astrological chart done by a Tibetan monk, he would say that you were born in the year of the Fire Pig. They...

"My dreamlands are positively enviable, full of weird animals..."
- Famous Person 1
My dreams are singularly banal. I go to work. I shop for food. I even recall one in which I read a book.
I think this may mean that my daily life is so unlike reality that I have to dream my quota of 'normal'. I think the dream life and the...

you know last night I dreamt I had a very long bubble bath wearing a pair of hotpants. Whilst in it, I figured I should make an art move of a bathtub striptease. Thankfully it was only a minor part of my dream trip; I no longer rest, I seem to dream ALL THE TIME I'm asleep. Surprisingly, it's refreshing.
Reading books or poetry is fabulous, isn't it? I recently dreamt I had composed a song with which I was beaming proud, until I tried recollecting it upon awakening and it didn't quite make sense, or rhyme... I think it's because in the dreamland words are often substituted by colours or smells.
PS Famous?...

The poster thing is real, my photoshops skills are shamefully insufficient to create a convincing fake.
In other matters, dream animals are the best. I like how you know what they are at the time evn if they are completely surreal. One one the weirdest I met was a composite hippo/gorilla.
Often though dreams that seem to have been mundane are but a thin veneer of normalicy and under scrutiny crack to reveal the strangest characters and situations, when trying to remember the dream pay extra attention to themost incongruous facts and stuff that you my otherwise have dismissed can turn out to be exciting situations that you just thought was normal because you were dreaming.

Bob Wilson
AKA Robert Anton Wilson
I've been stalling for several days now - either hoping that I would spontaneously come up with something witty to say or that the urge to say something would go away. I haven't and it hasn't either.
I can't honestly say that Bob was my friend. He and I worked at Playboy in the days when it was located...

You know, that's ok. I'd love to hear you pitch your testimonial - maybe we can flesh it out into a screenplay, sell it to hollywood and laugh ourselves to the bank!
Happy New Year, my freaky darlings.

"I wonder if I've been changed in the night? Let me think: was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But, if I'm not the same, the next question is, Who in the worlds am I? Ah THAT's the great puzzle.

Your mention of Tibetan curses piques my curiosity. Can you furnish me with examples?, Is there chanting and ruitual involved?

The special offer on free samples expired sometime around 1958. Sorry.
My mother, who was considered by some to be psychic, told me when I was 11 that I would probably adopt Catholicism because they had cool rituals and shiny instruments. I apparently chose Tibetan Bon for many of the same reasons. Believe me, they have enough ritual and shiny instruments - mostly in saturated primary colors. Mantras and chants galore. Somehow amid all the ... stuff, they manage to hold onto a non-materialistic, non-dualistic viewpoint. Lot's of memorization, though. Not my strong point, see?

Far out track! I'm most delighted that it mysteriously appeared on my desktop a couple of days ago and apparently you are responsible.
cheers!
