I just spent all afternoon fixing my internet. What this really means is that I spent all afternoon on the phone with a Verizon tech telling him how to do his job.
And then I had to navigate up the proverbial food chain to find someone with the correct authorization to do what I wanted them to do to fix it.
You know, if I ever get out of testing, at least I know I'm pretty qualified for a broadband tech position. And I only learned this stuff fixing the networks at LAN parties.
Go figure.
