I could never get tired of watching the 2 Kill Bill movies. I watched them over the last two nights, I needed to watch the second to perfect my 5 point palm exploding heart technique. I got it down but I need to work on making the forth move sound like I'm winding an alarm clock. I love the Superman monologue, I used to have a similar one that went like this: Superman(moreso in the gold and silver age)has a rather sadistic side to him because he always wanted Lois to fall in love with Clark, and yet Clark was never the real character, Superman is the real character. Clark is the clutzy, fumbling, cowardly act while Superman is the personification of the word hero(although it does make it easier when you are a flying bulletproof powerhouse). So why does he always want Lois to fall for Clark? Does he want her to actually prefer the fake act? What would you do if faced with such deception?

Everyone I know goes away in the end.
alternatively, superman could perhaps be scared of allowing the kind of vulnerability that would come with lois getting to know the real him. so he'd rather her fall for a guy who's easier to get and easier to accept, THEN show her who he really is. that way there's already the establishment of love without having to worry about whether or not she'd initially accept him if he were to only be superman to her. he does have a very human side to him, but there's also this godlike side. which would you rather have the woman you worship fall in love with? the side of you that's invulnerable and perfect, or the humanistic side, flaws and issues and all?
