So I finished reading V for Vendetta again last night. Great, great stuff. I wanted to read it again since the movie is coming out soon. Since they were both written about 20 years ago, V seems to hold up better in the philosophical and political areas better than Alan Moores other great piece The Watchmen. They both accomplish different things and while Watchmen is the better structured piece, V has a more timeless quality to it. It will be interesting to see how the movie will play out with the stories justification of terrorism. If they follow the story as close to the book as possible, I'm sure that that blowhard Bill O'reilly will be bitching about "those Hollywood secular elitests promoting terrorism" or some bullshit like that. Just go read the book. You read, you decide.
