Don't let friends make travel arrangements!
I wake up early last saturday and leave for Vegas. Meet up with the friends of mine in Santa Rosa and off we go to the Oakland airport, via San Francisco so we can go to Mel's Diner for lunch(our palets are too refined for trying anything experimental).
So you guessed it, we were late for our plane. So its back to SF for the next flight out.
4 hours later we are in Vegas.
Almost killed multiple times by crazy Russian taxi driver. And he's complaining about all the other drivers. "Back in my country those people would be getting ticket right now."
Barely any time for gambling, but I still won $18.00.
The NIN show was great as usual, Trent's voice was a little hoarse but for the most part sounded good. I liked the opening act Saul Williams a lot.
Right after the show its back to the airport.
With the slowest taxi driver in history.
We get to the airport but unfortunately didn't have the foresight earlier to get our boarding passes so we need to get them within 15 or 20 minutes before the next plane leaves.
In the line there are about 400 pissed off people that got their flight cancelled to Hawii.
Not looking good.
We went into another line that was supposed to be for other flights but oh well, we had places to be and the 400 other people weren't going anywhere.
No flights to the bay area at all. At least not for another 24 hours.
Look back at tickets, "Hey! thats the plane that we actually made the reservations for. D'OH!"
Renting a car and driving back looked real good at that moment. And so we did. "All night long, all night, all night"(gotta get the Lionel Ritchie in there).
Anyways, we finally got home.
And as soon as I got back I ordered more NIN tickets!
At least I won't have to fly to get to Mountain View.

FYI - no hard feelings, and definitely no drama, about your PSFB post today. I knew it was a joke. Just so we're clear.

Oh and tmronin claims I DO have a picture that qualifies.
