I'm going to Vegas on saturday to see NIN!!!
Bastard better not cancel, plane tickets cost me $250.00.
So, I've had a comic-book/game store for over ten years now. I've had a blast doing it, the last 2 years I've gotten a little burned out on it but all-in-all, it's been fun. I get by financially, I buy what I want with the exception of big stuff(house, new car, putting money aside for retirement).
Enter my brother Matt with most exceptional job offer.
Therefore, I'm moving to Monterey in one month!!!!!!!
It has all worked out perfect; someone is buying my store, I've been socking away some money for the move since I've been thinning down the inventory. The new owner will be starting with a lean mean store, he's getting great terms for the purchase of the store. I'm still taking a lot out to sell on e-bay thus lowering the sale price.
I won't be the "comic-book guy" anymore. Uhhhh...finally.
I sold my old 1971 Porsche 911 about 7 years ago with the hopes of eventually getting a newer model. I would have been content with a 1980 or so 911. No such chance working here at the store. In about 6 months I should be able to go down to the dealership and buy a new one.
Life is good.
