I am in the process of the very tedious task of mowing our lawn.
It hasn't been mowed yet this year, and it is looking pretty "LuluMae in the brush" out there. I spent two hours this morning cutting grass, and I got, oh, about 1/5th of the mowing done. Yikes! Oh- added fun: my lawn mower is electric and my lawn is not symmetrical and happens to be covered in trees, so everywhere I go I'm followed by a power cord, and there's always that little risk that I could run over the electrical cord and electrocute myself. Wee!
I brought my little pug-ly out with me and tied her up to a tree. She spent half an hour snorting around in the moss and grass, and she keeps having sneeze fits since she came back inside.
And that has been my Sunday. On the menu this evening: devilled eggs, potato salad and tomato/basil/cucumber salad- all made by scratch by your's truly. I decided to go for a "summer theme" this evening.
I'm having a Martha day. I feel the need to make my own placemats out of woven recycled liquor store bags. It's a good thing.

PS- Bettina put some photos in her gallery on her new website, www.bettina.ca- check them out, they're very fabulous!

Mmmmm devilled eggs....will forever keep me from going vegan. Until I can craft them out of tofu.
Thanks for the plug, lady. We need to shoot a new photoset for you, so we can ditch that wack-ass profile pic.
Hahah, you "crushed your crush". I hope you started with his head, and did it from across the courtyard.....mmm Kids in the Hall.
