Woooooooowwwwwww.
Well, Bettina and I just got back from a whirlwind tour to San Francisco and back. I don't really know where to start!
We left on Wednesday and did a show in Vancouver at the Railway Club. Aside from some technical difficulties, it was a cool show. We opened for two of the funnest bands I've ever seen live... "Swank" and "The Highballs". If they're coming to an area near you, I highly recommend checking them out.
Next, we were off to Portland to spend a night at the lovely Germany's house. What a great gal! We went out and danced for a bit, and then had a quick sleep before heading out to San Fran the next morning.
That evening, after drving.... and driving... and driving... we showed up on the doorstep of the fabulous S5 and Olivia's, where we set up camp for two nights. We did a show the Saturday night at Thee Parkside. What a blast! Papawheelie was the hostess with the mostess, putting on a fantastic show of burlesque debauchery. We got to meet Ryan and bombshellbetty and a whole bunch of incredible people. Super fun show, AND it went without a hitch.
Sunday morning it was good-bye San Fran and hello Portland. We arrived at Dante's Sinferno that evening and put on a great show for our fabulous Portland friends. Got to meet some cutie Portland SG's and hang out for the evening.
And then yesterday. We drove home and got in that evening. As wonderful as the tour was, it was nice to be home. I missed my boy and my chicken very much. Last night I popped by work and had a cocktail with my friends, and then slept like the deadest of the dead.
So what can I say? I've seen the world... there's no going back!! Thanks to everyone who were so nice and hospitable to Bettina and I. But most of all, thanks to Bettina for being one of the most incredible people I've ever had the opportunity to hang out with, let alone be friends and dance partners with. Thanks Lady!
