Great day/Awful Day.
Interestingly enough, the great day was all OUTSIDE of the house and the awful day was all INSIDE the house. HMMM.
Yes, I woke up to the dog being *accidently* (thanks Mum) let into Mum's room before going on the necessary early morning walk. So she pissed on Mum's bed and pooped in the closet. So Mum's all upset and all noodly, and the dogs all upset and noodly (because well, let's face it, I couldn't talk to her for most of the morning)... then I snap on Mum because I can't take another DAY (especially pre-coffee) of Mum standing around. Watching me. All frickin' day.
But then I got to go out of the house for some of the afternoon and be fabulous with Bettina- we met a brassy burlesque dancer from Vancouver for coffee and had a great time.
Then I came back home and Mum was in tears over something the dog did. What? Well, she doesn't remember. Or can't find the words. I know it doesn't involve body functions, though, and no one's hurt, so quite frankly, besides the fact that everyone's all noodly (again) I don't really give a god-damned SH**.
I have the night off. I don't have to work, and I don't have to get up tomorrow until the afternoon, when I have to drive Mum around. To be blunt, I'd like to go have a few cocktails. But no one wants to or can hang out because they partied all weekend (and I served them...) and let's face it- who wants to go and party on a Monday night? Exactly. They all have work and school. And I'm just going to start really waking up at about 10.
The worst part is that my hair's all done up for the meeting this afternoon, so I'm feeling especially fabulous. Now I'm going to be sharing it with prime time TV? Woot.
GrrrrrrrrRRRRRrrrrrr.
