I am still alive... really.
Bettina and I (The Bettilu Bombshells) have been working very hard on the photos for our new calendar, and we hope to have it ready for sale in the next few weeks. So, if you wanna support the hardest working burlesque team, you can check out calendar-purchasing information in the merchandise section of our site. Also, we have some new photos up from our last couple of shows. Va-va-voom!
All right, shameless promotion aside, how am I?
Well, I keep showing up for work every night, so I must be okay to some degree.
It was a long week. A long up and down week that I don't wish to repeat. And I have a lot of stuff rattling around in my head these days, so I've been pretty preoccupied. I'm making my best attempt at getting my "life" in "order." More on that some other time.
I gave my Princess Ruby Woo a dental bone today and she scarfed it in about 6 minutes. Is this normal? She ate the whole thing! And it had this weird minty-chicken smell about it. I love my dog but she is quite loony.
But for today, I'm going to do a whole lotta errands. And some house cleaning. And a bunch of meal-preparation for Mum this week. And then I'm hopefully going to dress up all nice and go for dinner to the one place in town which doesn't have peanuts in the kitchen, and I'm going to try and relax and enjoy one of those rare moments where my life is mine and my time is mine and I'm an adult just, you know, going on a dinner date like other normal adults do.
Then I'll call in to work and probably end up starting at about 12:30. Fun times.
Okay, I think that was the most boring paragraph ever. Who actually cares about what I'm going to do with my day? Let's hear it for laundry... Boo-ya!
I'd just like to shout out (word.) to all the Victoria SG members who showed up at my work the other night and brightened my shift. It was great to see (and in some cases meet) you guys! I wish I could have visited a bit but unfortunately I had to serve the masses.
That's it for now, Funseekers. Remember- Time flies like an arrow, but fruit flies like a banana.
