The Tattoo convention was definitely the highlight of my Spring Break. I got to interview Crazy Eddie (Philly Eddie) who is one of the famous old guys who started what they used to call tattoo shows. He's a real character. All kinds of other interviews, and just plain freak show type fun. I loved it. More details later!
Otherwise, I've had to get up early every day for the heating and plumbing guy, and he's still not through with all he has to do. I think I mentioned on here before we got a type of rehab and development grant to make some improvements on our home. New furnace and cleaned up radiators, plus a new radiator added to our breezeway are the first in the process. We put the grant application in about this time last year. Heard we were approved in June. Finally, after a ton of phone calls, they started coming out and checking stuff out before Christmas. Then took bids on the jobs, which involved a dozen MORE people walking through our house looking at stuff. Finally got the contracts signed for some of the work and got it started. Our heating guy is super nice, but we're a low priority job for him, so if he gets called out to do some other work or emergency work, he goes. I understand. It was just annoying to lose my spring break to sitting around the house letting the heat and plumbing guy in and out the door, etc. Guess I shouldn't complain, given the nature of the situation.
In a bad mood, lately--in spite of the new tattoo on the back of my neck, etc. That's why I haven't been around here much. I'll get over it, so don't worry. Just the usual whiny stuff.
But--that junk aside--I promise I'll pass along some good tat convention stories asap. Now I'm trying to catch up on all the papers I didn't grade for tomorrow. Yeeep.
(I HATE that monotone singing new Comcast commercial. It just this minute came on tv. Can we claim that noise causes seizures or something and get that series of commercials off the air? I mean, they are beyond awful and annoying. I'm glad I pay too much for DirectTV, at the moment! Okay--rant over.)

Those are good anecdotes. Used my best Forrest Gump voice.
While he did lift most of his plots, how he turned the stories is
glorious. PBS had a language program quite awhile back and
credited Shakespeare with Inventing >5,000 words. So we do
owe him a great deal.
How soon until we can see the new Ink?
