So we're fighting windy storms here in Jersey tonight. Our outside kitties are all holed up in the dog house I bought them, staying dry (I hope.) Weather change gave me a migraine and Neo's starting to feel the kind of pain he deals with every winter. As a chronic pain patient from a car wreck 15 years ago, he feels cold weather in his neck, back and hip. His mood takes a dive as the temperatures drop. Makes me so sad to see him go through all this. He's a high energy guy, but his body just won't always cooperate and it's super hard for him.
Me, I wish I had a third of his energy. Sorry for the whining--blame it on migraine hangover!
We brought one of the kitties Neo has fallen in love with inside to turn her into a house kitty. She's the runt of the litter, and we were calling her "Emo" because she looked worried so often outside--though we'll change that name soon enough. She is by far the most talkative kitty I have ever seen. Answers every word you say to her. Has a whole slew of mew noises. She's fitting in just fine and keeping Neo's spirits up. Kitty Love! We don't "need" another inside kitty, but Neo begged. Ha.
Send love to our SG friends Jewelz and Flashmo for their son, Ryan, if you haven't already. Ryan's sick and they are all very scared. We're trying to gather up all the good, healing vibes for them we can.
