Hello SG world.
Sorry it has been a while, my darling wife broke her leg and they subsequently found a cyst or tumour as they have put it. She has a scan and biopsy on Thursday in theory telling us what they can find out about the cyst and then work out a way to fix her leg. Must say it has been a massive worry and am more than a little afraid right now. However have to be brave as do not want to let down or worry wife by not being brave.
Anyway am back at work after having the last two weeks off to help wife whilst in hospital. Let me give you this one bit of advice and you may choose freely to listen or ignore as you please. Never work for the insurance industry. Having worked there for almost 6 years and being a (admittedly self confessed) pro I am really fed up. It seems that every day at work I get people complaining at me about things they think they are entitled to or how they could do my job so very much better than me. Unfortunately when you try talking to people about it they also do not understand as they also think the whole insurance industry are out to get them aswell.
Also am starting to feel like such an outcast. I know I have my wife but I mean on a more friends kind of level. A lot of people will be really friendly when they have no option but to sit with you or hang out with you, but as soon as it comes to needing a friend when they would have to make an tiny effort they all of a sudden have better things to do. Problem is in Dorking, Surrey, UK people do not seem to accept anyone that have a few tattoos (unless its a tramp stamp) and likes to spend their free time reading comics and playing games.
Sorry for the rant.
Fuck I am really scared right now.
