So I guess once a month is the standard. My friend and I (its a theme get over it) went to dinner for my birthday as planned and it was awesome. food was incredible, she encouraged me to get a little drunk and mixed alchohols on me... not nice. Started with a nice 20 yead old scotch (it was too nice a place to ask for it the way I wanted to... give me something that's old enough to fuck, but hey can't have everything) And then the champagne she brought. And the lobster went real well with that.
Awesome conversation at dinner, and I was again really good about being a friend. Although I will note that I have seen her go out on dates and not be dressed as sexy as she was for our 'dinner and a play b-day present'. Not reading anything into it. But since she knows how I feel for absolutely-fucking-certain what the fuck? I know she doesn't have a manipulative bone in her body, but maybe a little courtesy.
Dinner conversation was awesome, but she made a bunch of little "I am dissatisfied" type comments about herself like:
"No one ever actually considers things I say like you do."
"It's nice to have a real conversation with someone"
"Almost weird not having to explain something after I say"
Minor but might be important later.
So we go to the play. It sucks. It could have been good, the writing was OK. Here's why it sucks:
American Director
American Actor
British Play
Dark Comedy
Nuff said.
Some is inadvertantly funny but overall trash. At intermission it is obvious she is completely not into this and suffering. Since I also am experiencing this pain I offer that we should leave. Again she mentions how nice it is to be around someone who gets her.
Everytime it makes me think "What the fuck about your boyfriend?" grrrr....
We've talked and emailed a bunch and it is obvious that she is not that into this guy but they share a place (prior to their relationship, keep up) and things are so hectic otherwise one gets the distinct impression she doesn't want more drama.
And the last email noted that
All the craziness in my life just came at a bad time for us.
It really sucks to be in love, like, and lust with someone.
Anyone want to help distract me? lol

I will, but I just scanned through to see people who looked interesting don't have much time to do stuff like this. And I thought you needed to be friends to comment?
