So, it took almost 3 months for her to talk to me and it was a birthday wish that got her to call me back. Apparently between work and a crazy school schedule and insanity at work, she just couldn't deal with this. Didn't realize until 2 weeks after her B-day that she didn't get the flowers I sent because she moved offices (part of the insanity)
The short of it is, she had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned that we'd talked about my feelings for her changing. Apparently, she thought I was messing about and must not of taken it seriously. She explained that she has just fallen for someone else (nice). But, from what she described he's the exact thing she says she isn't looking for. so.... whatever.
I didn't realize until after the conversation that she never actually said she wasn't interested in more with me. That I had been assuming the answer was "No" since it has been for me for the past year. But she didn't say no, she didn't directly address it at all except to say she was getting involved with someone. ggggrrrrrrrr...
I don't think I am OK with letting that sort of avoidance stand. I guess I am a masochist, but i want to actually hear her say the no specifically and directly.
Does that make me stupid?
