Hello and greetings!
As 2005 winds down and 2006 begins, I thought Id write a quick recap of my year. 2005 was like most years I had some ups and downs. Im still at the same job, but I am hoping to get out soon.
I am attempting to become a flight attendant for United. If hired, I will be based out of Washington D.C., so I may be moving the left coast. It would be very different from the warmth and sun of Southern California. As with any decisions I have made in my life there are good and bad things about everything. Ill have more details in mid-January.
Dont worry if your on one of my flights Ill give you the whole can of soda, and a extra bag of peanuts.
I did have fun in 2005. Kari (my sister) came out and visited me and we had a good time exploring LA and checking out different things. We also went for a trip up the coast to central California to check out the wine country. We had had a good time, and sort of did the sideways thing. I have gone to Chicago twice to see her and Craig. I seem to pick the worst times of the year. Its always freezing!
I returned to Durango over the summer and rafted the upper Animas, a class V river (very dangerous). The river was really cold and very fast with lots of big waves and a few drops. I managed to stay in, but did get very wet. I was lucky enough to be able to see a few friends while I was in town, and I did enjoy that. Thanks to Brent and Erin for letting me crash with them while I was in town!
This year I did attend several Dodger games, I hung out at the beach occasionally, I attended a cool car show, saw some great shows, and had lots of good food to eat. I continue to stay with my loving aunt, who continues to house me as long as I walk the psychotic dog. Speaking of dogs, my beloved dog, Countach passed away in November. Two weeks ago I found a German Shepherd rescue in Burbank, and I go there on Saturday, and walk the dogs. They are all sweet once you get to know them, and the have great personalities, except one.
All in all things are pretty much the same. Im still the same person, as I have always been, same weird sense of humor, same hot body! Opps.
That pretty much sums up my year. Pretty good for the most part.
Cheers and best wishes!
Luke
