Well it has been just on this side of forever, hasn't it? Hope everyone is doing well. I did one of the "drops of the Earth because he is working too much" things for the last six months or so. I have also been contending with getting my girlfriend, Julia, settled into the new place, and all that it entails.
So what is the same? Most things really, still working on making games, at the same place. Still doing my best to start taking better care of myself with mixed results. Missing a lot of folks (many here on SG among them) who I don't talk to or see nearly enough.
What's new? Well, I am trying to further build some culinary skills. I just made a gumbo from scratch, and it pretty much rocks near as I can tell. We didn't eat it for dinner tonight because Julia was feeling a bit under the weather, but the test taste I had of it has me looking forward to dinner tomorrow night.
I have been trying to work through my backlog of games with some degree of success. If you are looking for the pro picks on the market right now, I suggest Borderlands, Batman: Arkham Asylum and (note that many disagree with me, but I stand by it) Brtal Legend . Also, if you are looking for a good PC game or two, may I suggest Heroes of Newerth (though you will have to scrounge a beta key for it) and Torchlight.
I have heard very good things about both Assassin's Creed II and Uncharted 2, though I haven't gotten a chance to try either of them, any thoughts, peanut gallery?
In other news, apparently the downloadable content I made for Call of Duty: World at War got downloaded a whole lot, so that is pretty cool. I really had a blast with it (terribly racist VO aside). Check it out

At any rate, I hope all of you are well, and while I hope to improve my track record for keeping up, I am a bit worried that this year is going to be hell and I may very well disappear for quite awhile again. Let's hope not.
Cheers.

Haa haa, yeah there's been a lot of that. But then there are the times when stuff falls from the sky in clumps and all falls on one person.
