Well guys, I am out for a bit. Not that this will apparently make much of a difference on my posting schedule, considering the complete lack of updates lately, but hopefully I will improve on that in the coming year. I will be enjoying the wonderful climes of Southern IL for the next bit, so enjoy the sunny LA weather for me in my absence.
2007 was, in a lot of cases, a pretty shitty year. Some really good stuff came out of it as well though. Having said practically nothing in those sentences, here are my top 10 albums of 2007 (not released in 2007, mind you, but listened to by me in 2007).
1. The Mountain Goats "The Sunset Tree"
2. The Falcon "Unicornography"
3. Dr. Steel "The Dr. Steel Collection"
4. Heavens "Patent Pending"
5. Dillinger Four "Midwest Songs of the Americas"
6. Alkaline Trio "Remains"
7. Neutral Milk Hotel "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea"
8. The Pixies "Come on Pilgrim"
9. Lawrence Arms "Cocktails & Dreams"
10. Generation X "Kiss Me Deadly"
This year's theme song in my book is "100 Resolutions" by Lawrence Arms.
Catch you guys on the flipside, everyone come back from the holidays safe and overfed, ok?

Hopefully you'll try that unhermit-ing before the rains of doom begin.

You remain a scholar and a gentleman, sir. I look forward to catching up with you so soon as possibilities and the ending of contagion allow.
