We're done with Beta. It feels pretty good to be working potentially less than 60 hours a week (It is still certainly possible, just not required). On the down side, we have gotten to the unhappy time of cutting cool stuff because it just isn't working in one way or another. I had my first feature cut today, which is not the happiest experience. I will deal, and it is a good learning experience, but damn if I still don't feel a little sad for my poor little feature which will never see the light of day.
I am feeling pretty damn good all things considered, and I'm looking forward to getting this game shipped and having a life again. Wish I had something mildly interesting to say, but I guess barely connected babbling is all I got for tonight. Oh yeah, might be making an indie horror game with a coworker to submit to a horror movie/game festival. That could be pretty sweet, so we'll see how it goes.

I'm afraid the next week or so, I'm swamped! I have a guest from out of town this weekend, then I have to fly to Seattle short notice for my dad's wedding
