Not a bad night. Not bad at all. 
Did some present shopping. Didn't find the music I wanted at best buy - go figuire, right - so I had to buy one of the gifts online.
That CD would be "Somos Cordero" by Cordero - some of their garage rock is in English, then the others have the expected Latin feel to them of a rock band. It's for my sister.
The other I wanted was "Urban Hymns" by the Verve, who will tragically be flying around the world to who knows where for some tragically boring business trip, having tragically boring wine at boring dinners discussing tragic medication. Or not, I haven't asked him yet. All I know is he's going to miss his own birthday party because of a business trip, haha. Couldn't find that one either at Best Buy, so I got him that latest album by the Vines with Ride, I figuire he'll like 'em well enough.
While I was poking around Amazon I got one of you a belated birthday present. Hmmm, wonder who? I also got Laputa a thank you gift, as she renewed my SG membership on the day I planned to come back, as I'm now in positive cash flow....for now, haha.
And who, of all people do I see at Best Buy? Princess Leia Organa. I said hi to talk to her for a bit as I thought she just got there from a Con, but she was wearing a Best Buy badge. Turns out the Star Wars trilogy box set (for IV, V, VI ) is out! \

I heard bad, bad things, like the new Anakin Skywalker kid was integrated into the trilogy, I guess it makes sense, but it will still be odd. I'm still hoping Han Solo shoots at Greedo first. From what I've read before it's been cleaned up digitally, at least though, so that's a major plus. So I bought the box set.
Saw Resident Evil 2 - for free, whew. The last 1/4 redeems the first 3/4 of bad plot based on a good plot. Oh well, it was OK. See it on DVD.
Hopefully, Wednesday, I will feast my eyes on Jolie for at least a few minutes in Sky Captain.

That song is wonderful. I think I am all stupid sad about being alone for a while though, so maybe that makes it better for me. I guess you're to happy for sad music right now. Also, you switched up the spelling of tragic half way through your post, why? Since you fuck with me grammr police style I thought I'd get you for that. Anyhow, I am computer retarded and my computer hates me. I have some new toolbar on IE that is apparently letting a damn trojan horse in and "my daily horoscope" is ruining my life refusing to go away like the damn cat that came back.
