So this whole job hunting thing is such bullshit! The design jobs I apply for at my level want either Associate's Degree (which I have) plus at least 2 years experience or Bachelor's Degree (which I don't have). Then all the internships I apply for, that aren't bullshit like the last whack job I interned for that only gave me 6 months to add to my experience, are only for college students not recent grads! Uggghhhhh I feel like I am stuck in a perpetual state of
I have even applied for non-design jobs in fields I have worked in and have held supervisor positions in, but they wont hire me because they think I am going to quit as soon as I find a job in my field to start career. So I'm over qualified for general labor jobs and under qualified for design job.....this is the relentless circle I have been sucked into and it is driving me crazy!!!!!
But don't fret, I'm not a quitter.....
I am thinking about, well first finding ANY fucking job I can (which you think would be easy I know, but there are not many jobs in this town right now and a lot of people I know are having a hard time as well). After finding said job, re-enrolling in school for my Bachelor's Degree then while enrolled reapply to the internships that I really wanted to get but only took people in college. Then I should have an advantage over people who are only at 1 or 2 years of college since I will be on my 3rd. Well, at least this is the theory I am leaning towards right now. Ok, enough of this bullshit lol!
Let's look at awesome shit!
