And the second eye opening thing I saw today was by a dutch artist. This washed up on the shore of a South Florida Beach:

This is the third one he has sent out into the world over the years, one somewhere in Holland by a dutch resort and the other in the UK somewhere. The artist's name is Ego Leonard and this is what he has to say about his giant lego men adventures:
