today I am supposed to go to a friend from work's house for a housewarming party. I told him I would go. I am not going to go. Now, I feel guilty.
He lives 40 min away. I have a lot to do this weekend. If I were to be honest, I actually am kind of fed up with everyone from work and work itself. I still feel really guilty though. I know what your thinking, why don't I just call him to tell him I'm not going. I would, but I am not going to. I hate the phone, I never really call anyone. I am a bad friend.
This October is going to be hectic! so busy. I love October. Today, for the first time, it was cool enough to wear jeans. I love when the leaves change color, when the weather cools, and especially Halloween. I just finished reading "the Darkest Evening of the Year" by Dean Koontz which I really loved. Today I went to the library and got 3 new books, then when I was getting my oil changed this man was screaming for 30 minutes at all the poeple working there because they weren't getting his car done, I almost told him to shut up but I figured it wasn't going to help the situation. He was so fired up. If I was quick enough I would just put him in a sleeper hold and whisper Shhhhh... into his ear. There was this beeping noise that would happen every time someone entered. I was there for 3 hrs. I felt like a zen master by the time I left. I blocked everything out. There is still so much to do today but I don't feel like doing any of it. I just want to be lazy.
I can't wait to watch the Eagles game tomorrow.
