I feel shallow today. Incapable of really processing anything too "deep". So I will only deal with silly, minor problems.
My favorite jeans ripped last night. Not in a cool place, either. Gotta love the internet though b/c I was able to find them online and order two more pairs!
I also found a great website for shoes and bags. I need a new pair of boots for the winter and I need to trade in my satchel for something more "professional." The word professional is so misleading. I mean, there are plenty of professions where carrying a satchel like mine would be quite appropriate!
Our TV is dying. The color is HORRIBLE. Everything is so red. Red, not rad.
I am watching the Bengals get their ass (ass? asses? hmmm, grammar experts feel free to step in here... er? ) kicked by the Jets. I am not really a huge Bengals fan despite growing up in Cincy, but my brother in law is an NFL reporter who covers the Bengals. Since he is in town covering the game, I feel obligated to watch the game and call my sister with periodic updates. (I probably could've gone with him to the game, but oh well...) Even though the team is less than stellar, he absolutely LOVES his job. It is his dream job, which is so cool. And he gets to go to the Superbowl EVERY year, with the best seats in the house; the press box is on the 50 yard line. Plus my nephews have gotten to meet scores of NFL players, even have dinner with them. Which may not be a good thing... but to 12-14 year old boys it IS pretty cool.
Saw Hero last night. It's a beautiful film.
Now I must find food... and I am meeting Wreckyourlife in a bit to hang out until his train leaves. Lovely plans for a Sunday!
