that's awesome you are moving out here, portland is such a great city to live in...not too big, not too small, good people.
unfortunately, i don't know of anyone with an extra room to rent out, but i know that Craigslist has worked out well for some friends. definitely worth checking out.
also, don't know anyone driving cross country anytime soon, don't need a djembe, and i don't know of any temporary jobs in NYC. wish i could help you out tho.
i am way down to hang out w/ the doggies once you get here! it's always nice meeting new people, and it's extra nice when they have a dog cause otto loves company too.

last nights episode was the one where shake goes to guatemala for plastic surgery. he's got the coconut nostrils and the chin that keeps deflating...and frylock is pretending to be a fireman to a girl he was talking to online...it's a good one. i fell asleep to the venture bros...great show, but i had a long weekend...as you might have read
