Yay, yay, yay!!! 
Well, today I got started on my newest tattoo. I'm pretty pumped about it. It's my closure, in a way, on all of the bullshit that has gone on in the last handful of months. It is a graffing of the word "Endure" with a fire at both ends and some melting going on. This tattoo sums up myself in the past few months. I've felt myself burning from both ends like a candle, and the only thing that I can do is endure it all. Keep my head up, take the the punches to the face and the spit in the eyes that life has handed and smile. I can't really explain how much this tattoo means to me. It's my way of saying "fuck you, I've made it thru".
Well, with that said, I also went thru with my 2 lip piercings last month. They are pretty cool.
I'm sure I'll put pics up soon. Cherrylove13 wasn't so hip on them at first because they "took away my baby faced look and made me look too hardcore. She likes them now though, although they drove me nuts for a while, now I'm pretty used to them.
Also, last night (damn, it's been a busy 30 days) my band went in a recorded a quick demo with a friend of mine. He's done pretty much only hip-hop stuff as he is a hip-hop artist himself, so he really wanted to get a live, loud band in there. We met his expectations. Funny thing is that he did for free in 3 hours what another producer did for about $1000 in WAAAAYYYY more than 3 hours. He also did a hell of a lot better. We only did one live take and it sounds as good and better in some parts than with an anal retentive producer that we did overlay after overlay. Good shit last night.
On a final note (for now), Sunday I've got this incredible drummer and bass player coming by. We are going to try and start something new. These 2 guys live music and want nothing more than to work at it, no matter what it takes... and they have the skill to back it up. It'll be nice seeing what happens with them since we are on the same page. So... yay.

hey man. long time no speak. hope all has been well! although the tatoo sounds like maybe not. but i think its a good positive way to get past things even if it was pretty bad!
