Ok the people I work with need to step into the 21st century. I work with a woman, whom I love and is the best vet tech in the world, but man she needs to get technology. Sometime last year she had to give up her tape (yes I said tape) player because it broke and who sells tape players anymore. So she got a portable CD player 6 months ago and it was a big step, now she did have a CD player at home so its was not that much of a change but she needs something to take when she worked out. She then noticed my Zune that I listen to at work, and asked about it, and trying to explain an MP3 player to her is horrible. So she decided she wanted one, I told her that would be tough because she did not own a computer so she really could not put songs on it and that was that. So last month I mentioned to her that I could get her one from Woot for like 20.00 that was 1 gig and had a radio on it, she asked me to get it (because she will not use her credit card on the internet) and I did and stupidly I said I would put her songs on it for her since she does so much for me and my pets. So what have I been doing these past 2 weeks burning about 100 CDs to my hard drive so I can put them on her MP3 player, now realize that her MP3 player is ONE gig I try to tell her that all her music is not going to fit but she does not grasp that. So I am still buring all her music and then randomly putting them on her player and if she asks where some songs are I am just going to tell her that its random and I am sure she will hear it at some point.

Wow. You have far more patience than I do. I can't even get it together to get cd's burned for my OWN iPod, much less someone else's. I have little tolerance for someone who can't help themselves.

I would only do it for her, she does a lot for me and my animals so its the least I can do, but it does drive me crazy I am going to put the songs on her MP3 player Monday (what ever I have burned) and give it to her Tuesday so that she has it for her vacation and then I will be done with it
