So work is all kinds of stressful now, they are wanting to put in a second shift officer that would work from 2-10:30 the advantages would be weekends off, no pager and a .40 raise. However I would never see my husband again and if I wanted to go anywhere with him I would either have to drive there myself or take the day off work. The problem is that someone has to volunteer for the position and if they don't it will be appointed and that could mean me, I can't quit because I have 2 classes left until I have my masters degree that they are paying for and I will not loose my degree because of second shift. The other big problem is now we have every other weekend off now, and have a switch parter if we need a Saturday off, well someone will not have a switch partner or we are going to loose our every other weekend off. So that means that I will be missing most of the KHRF which saddens me but also put lots of stress on me for reasons I will not go into here.
