Okay, so, I am back. I had an awesome time with THE DWARVES. They are all so cool, and a lot different than I expected them to be. There is way too much too remember, so, I will mention the highliights of my trip. Seattle: Met the beautiful xexdx and ooomermaidooo, at the Graceland. Doorguy licked balls, me no likee. Had a beer and a mahi mahi taco on the pier before the show. Setup went fine, drove back to portland afterward and got home at 4:30am. Portland: Took public tranport down to hawthorn. Had some pizza and a beer by myself at Oasis cafe before show. Went to Sabala's which used to be Mt. Tabor pub, and boy does it fucking kick so much more ass now! Beautiful venue, yall should check it out when you get a chance. Owned by Jason Sabala, ex owner of SATYRICON. You know, That infamous club where courtney love and kurt cobain first met. The show was kickass, they played with deadbolt and some other bands. Met two SG's, had a blast. Tacoma: I got out there around 5:30, thinking I was late. I was supposed to be there at 5, but The Dwarves didn't show up until 6:30. So I checked out a little record store around the corner from Hell's Kitchen, the venue they played. Bought an old Murder City Devils CD. My friend Nate bought Dirty Thieves. Setup was good, no smoking in bar though WTF! So, I had to go outside on my breaks. But at least I got to drink. So many hot pshychobilly guys, yikes! I hart tacoma. I also got to pump my chi chis in the dressing room (Jealousy will get you nowhere.) Drove back to Seattle that night to holiday inn downtown, where we were staying. Shared a room with Tazzie the bassist. Next Day In Seattle: Went on a sock shopping spree with tazzie, ate bad mall sushi, rode the bumper cars, layed around in the hotel room with Blag Dahlia and Tazzie and Nate watching western movies until 6pm. Olympia: Setup was practically in the dark, sucky. Bar was cool, The Clipper. HeWHO was not aloud to play in usual show attire, birthday suit and lucha mask. So he had to where a fucking cup. There were some real creeps there. But the bartenders were nice. Nate and Tazzie and I drove back up to Seattle afterward, picked up a hitchhiking young girl (who tazzie scared the hell of by telling her the only people who pick people up at 3am are the kind to hack you up and leave you in the woods.) Tazzie was also wearing devil horns and we were listening to motley crue and this girl looked pretty christian. But hey, you shouldn't accept rides from strangers. Call a fucking tow truck when your car breaks down. Seattle, same night: Partied like rockstars in the hotel until 7am. Left at 9am. I scared the old people in the lobby cafe. I wak in piggytails, see-through white and pink polka dot PJ's, Pink legwarmers, and a full face of smeared make-up. Nate had a black eye and a sleep mask on. I just wanted a banana and sleep and to get home to my little boy. So, it was fun. I also found out that thr drummer andy is also the drummer for KMFDM.Lots of free stuff.
