So I finally made it to NJ. It took two weeks to find a different apartment and my shop got closed down today for saftey issues due to my companies lack of forthought. But I'm here, I'm alive and I love it. My place is a one bedroom basement apt in Bayonne, NJ. When I walk out my door, I can see the Bayonne bridge that leads over to Staten Island. It's all lit up at night red, white and blue. I really feel like I belong here and have for a long time. It reminds me of when I grew up in Chicago at my Grandparents house. People outside talking to each other, little deli's and cafe's all along the block, antique book stores that I'm sure were put there just for me and an internet cafe where you can go get on a computer for $3 an hr. Now all I need to do is get over my insane shyness and find friends. That should'nt be too hard......Right????
