So..I'm at my parents' house for the weekend. Came in for a nice visit. Maybe to steer clear of all that is Mardi Gras. They have a couple of parades here. *chuckles* Tiny. Far less than Baton Rouge....and is nothing compared to New Orleans. I hate New Orleans. Especially during Mardi Gras. So fucking dirty. The only good thing about Mardi Gras has always been the getting out of school for 2 or 3 days. Woohoo. But, seeing that I'm not in school this year...for the first time since I was 3...fuck Mardi Gras. I'm not Catholic..but neither are the majority who choose to celebrate it either. I'm not much of a drinker. The only parade I was remotely interested in was the dog parade...somewhere in downtown BR..Spanish town perhaps. Danyul and I were going to walk our pups in the parade...but he had to work..and I forgot about it anyway. Oh well..maybe next year.

Watching Adult Swim reruns right now. It's kinda nice. I miss having cable...for the sole reason of Adult Swim. I watch an occasional other show or station at friends' houses...but I'm never there late enough for Adult Swim..or they're just not into watching cartoons. *shrug* I think I'll always love cartoons. It's great that as I've aged so have my cartoons. Danyul has a coupla seasons of ATHF...and we have a buncha episodes of Venture Bros. too. Lotsa Inuyasha episodes too. I have a wonderful friend who tapes Adult Swim for me...because he has cable...and doesn't want me to miss the finer things in life.

I guess I should go to bed soon. I have to get up fairly early to go back to BR.
