so here's my thought for today.
I was just at the bus depot sending some things for work. The man that helped me was nice-ish. However, throughout the whole time i was there (about 20 minutes), every other customer that came in and was served by his co-worker, he laughed at. And he did this while the customer was standing there, right beside me. And it wasn't a haha let's joke around laugh. It was a 'I'm making fun of you' laugh. I found this to be very rude.
Now I've worked in retail for along time. I've seen tons of customers that I thought were just stupid and have laughed at them. But not to their face while they're standing in front of me! I now realize that society just doesn't give a shit anymore about other people's feelings. I think that's very sad and unfortunate. I think that no matter what you think of someone, you should at least have the common courtesy to be respectful to them. Especially if it's someone you don't know. If you feel the need to laugh or make fun of them, do it when they can't see or hear you. It's not exactly a good thing to do, but it's a little more respectful.
I know I don't like it when total strangers say bad things about me and make fun of me. You shouldn't make judgements on people you know nothing about. Think about it!
Edit: and people (you know who you are) should leave me the f*** alone!
