Ok, so here's a question. When it comes to guy code and girl code, what exactly r the guidelines? I understand that the code dictates that its not really cool to date the ex of a friend. But define ex...r we talkin ex-wife, ex-fiancee, ex-gf, ex-friend with benefits??? I mean, where's the line in the sand.
I believe that if there was no real relationship, like solid, honest, committed, been together exclusively for at least 6-8 months, then there should be some wiggle room in the code. Especially if its just a FWB that they're never gonna be with again cuz they've gotten married or something.
I've just never really understood the whole thing where girls think they have exclusive rights to a guy because they saw him first, or liked him first, or slept with him first...if the guy doesn't want them why should I be punished and not allowed to see for myself if something amazing could come out of it!
I mean, its not like I'm gonna go out and sleep with my best friend's ex-husband...cuz that would just be wrong. But why is a FWB off-limits? Why is a guy that tells me I was his first choice, but was unavailable at the time, off-limits? Why is a guy that my friend likes that doesn't like her but wants me, off-limits?
Am I just totally out in left field on this one, and all of u r reading this and thinking to urselves, "what a bitch!" Or do I have a valid point? I just don't know. Input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What's guy code?

well, in my experience, guy code is similar to girl code, just guys don't put an off limits sign on girls that they've just screwed around with. at least from what i've seen they don't.
