so my lovelies!!
my bff and sister desdemonia and i have been to COCHELLA and lived to tell about it....BARELY!
our day commenced at 10 am and a stop at starbucks COFFEE!! ( and lest i remind you that i didnt arrive home from my gig with the BK5 in O.C. until about 5am the same day...)
we hit the road to indio and about 2 hrs later arrived at a condo where we were to meet alexis (who i FINALLY got to meet..fabulous girl) and stephanie...
we picked them up and carried on to cochella...now this is where things gets nasty!!
lets begin with an hour and a 1/2 of traffic...ya thats 4 miles in an hr and 1/2...ok kinda like LA... to the parking lot....
by now its about 95 degrees of grand direct firey belching burning desert sun...
so here's me and des so fresh and so clean...
...then....we get to endure the oh...lets say 1.5 mile hike from the lot to the venue (oh and all the while we thought that we would be able to get the hotel to change/freshen up before getting there...)
bla bla bla got passes (ya all access bitches!!) ... burned in the sun... hung out in VIP, got a headache had no idea what was going on for like 4 hrs!!
and then....ordeal extreme #1!! ....uh where exactly is the car and uh how do we get all of our stuff?? so we procured a van service from a cute little asian boy who drove like a maniac...
arrived at dress rehersal at the trailer of SHE WANTS REVENGE at 9pm ( so punctual!!)
and commenced dress rehersalising with singer JUSTIN and his lovely lady/stylist.
people gawked and ooohed and ahhhed as we practiced our wedding march in the dressing room/trailer area....we were video taped for the cochella dvd, snapped by cobra snake and countless other folk both of the peasantry and the royalty, cheered on by 15,000 rabid fans and generally adored...but likie i always say! why say it with words when you can say it with pictures!
