Today I went to the Dali exibit at the Philadelphia Musuem of Art. I actually liked it a lot and came out with more respect for Dali than when I went in. My previous opinion about him was that he was a talented and interesting artist that was basically full of shit. I still don't believe he remembers his experience in the womb, but my opinion has been shifted in the direction of fascinating. Of course, it didnt hurt that I found out he fell in love with physics and displayed it in his later art. I swear there was a cantor set forming a cross in one painting. Another painting was some kind of illustration of the uncertainty principle. Persistance of Memory is apparently also inspired by general relativity. A man after my own heart.
The vegetable garden is finally planted, it features: strawberries, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, beets, carrots, green beans, spinach, some kind of hyacinth that makes an edible fruit and an assortment of herbs (not THOSE herbs!)
Summer is here
I'm going out to dinner with my family to celebrate my graduation. It's a persian place, what should I get?
