Im in cape cod, yay! I love it here We just polished my canoe and put sunscreen on it. Yes, thats right, sunscreen. I love my baby and I wouldnt want her to get any harmful UV rays! I also bought a neat knife, a lil switch blade
After prettying up my canoe we took it out to the ponds. I love the ponds here. There kettle ponds which means when the glaciers came through in the last ice age they left ponds in the valleys which somehow are still here. Some of them are big, you can boat in them and the water is crystal clear. Theyre almost like lakes. And some of them have a lot of vegetation growing all over the place. Theyre all full of turtles and fish and whatnot. Some cool birds too, blue herring, egrets, hawks and osprey. I'll take some pictures
I was thinking about writing an essay on why people learn math in high school. I remember when I was in HS, people always questioned it... "what are we going to need this for in the real world?" and i guess it's a reasonable question, the percentage of people like myself that go on to use math at a higher level both academically and careerwise must be minute. I was thinking of writing specifically about the complex number i, and why you would bother learning such a seemingly abstract principal that you'll probably never use. In any case, this is always a good place for me to clear my mind and write, so I may be calling on you all for opinions of what I come up with I'd like it to be a really good piece...
So, I got two rice recipes in my last journal entree (thank you, and thank YOU).. whats YOUR favorite thing to make?
