Went to regional training for Slumber Parties on the 20th. It was a blast. Four hours of learning tons of stuff and scribbling notes like mad. I was with my sponsor (she's absolutely amazing and I love her to death) and two other women.
One of them was a 34 year old lady, total partier, lived alone in nice town house and hadn't slept at all the night before due to going to a rock concert (she was driving us to Omaha of course). The other a 26 year old stay at home mom, who was nice enough, but a little obsessed with showing videos and pictures of her kids. We had a nice heart-to-heart in the back seat on the way home, I like her quite a bit and gave her my business card so she can contact me whenever.
I got to meet and listen to some of the top distributors in the midwest. Pretty amazing. The speaker was fantastic. The whole thing in general was really inspirational in terms of getting my booty out there and getting my business underway.
I'm going to Baton Rouge, LA in October for the Annual training event. I'm so stoked.
Trying to get my roommate to go. She signed up at the same time I did (without me even talking her into it) but she's not really trying, in my eyes, to make it work out. I really think she needed to go to the training on Sunday, it would have helped her so much, but alas, she skipped out. I'm going to give her a copy of my notes though, hopefully that will be of some help.
Have a few parties coming up, way excited. I can't lie, I was unsure when I started but I'm so glad now that I did this!

How's life then? Still here in Ames? What video game store do you work at? I might need to come by to make a purchase soon! I'm in need of new entertainment.
