So, anway, I was put on academic probation. Ouch. I hardcore fucked up last semester. Although if I hadn't been suffering from severe depression I think I would have been okay. I wish now that I'd had the courage to get help sooner. Now I have to meet with my advisor a lot more often and fill out a self-assessment sheet on my plans to keep my head above water next semester. I don't think I'll have a problem. It just sucks that I got such bad grades. I failed three out of five classes and just barely passed the other two.

I'm the kind of student that usually freaks out if I get lower than a B. So, you can imagine how this makes me feel. Bleh. Although I know the reasoning and I know I will do better in the future. Its just those damn letter I have now that are driving me mad. X_x

I have a lot of Christmas shopping to do. I don't mind it, except I hate the 45 minute drive to Des Moines, and the crowds, and the bitchy people, and the bad drivers. Whatever.

I've been doing a lot of reading lately. I must admit I love Asian history and books like Memoirs of a Geisha and now Snow Flower and the Secret Fan. Though not realistic accounts of actual history they're very interesting and beautifully written. And about women. Andy likes to joke and call me his little feminist. But its incredible to see the pain and suffering women went through back then. So, I suggest those books to those of you who enjoy reading. Very good.

Anywho, I'm off to play computer games, and torture my puppy.
