Some of you may know that I have been working for an online headshop as a Social Media & Marketing manager. I've been in this particular position for over a year. Before that I was with this company for 6 months and I had a few other jobs in retail and serving (all at the same time!)

My whole life I've been working very hard to not struggle. My family history is a long story for another day.. But regarldess I knew that out of life I never wanted to struggle to the point where my home, my family .. everything would be taken from me. This is a fear I've had my whole life. Although these outcomes weren't always in reach (thankfully) my own anxieties have put things in my head. Even in high school I didn't know what I wanted to do after my graduation.. I just knew I wanted to be happy with what I was doing.

We're in 2017 now. I'm doing much better. Working harder, traveling more, I'm happy. I'm in a good place in my life. After speaking to my partner a few nights ago about whats been going on in my mind with work & everything "Lua Stardust" I decided to quit my job and just focus entirely on being Lua. I'm lucky to have a partner who not only supports that but is willing to help me on this journey so I can bring the most content and awesome rewards to you guys!

Working a 9-5 takes away from everything I've built. Less time to shoot, less time to edit, less time to be on snapchat, to talk to patrons, to stream. I've been running myself dry for so long and using my day job as a security blanket. While this company was a pleasure to work for.. I just knew it didn't feel right.

I have made this decision quite nervously. Being a full time creator is exhilarating, exciting, terrifying and nerve wracking. I only hope to be able to make you guys proud with the content I will be putting out. I'm working on getting more equipment to shoot at home. Booking more paid gigs & events to travel and meet you all. Patreon is my baby, I want to be able to give you all what you deserve and thats my undivided attention for our exclusive club!

Starting in November I will be here full time. I will be on Twitch, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & Snapchat. I have some great ideas for photoshoots, videos, merchandise, traveling! Collaborations.. so many beautiful things.
