This town is chaotic. I mean it, literally.
AS some might know, the mother's day took place at sunday, this weekend. As a result, 12.000 prisoners had a indulge, I don't know the exact juridical term for it, but they were allowed to get out of prison to 'spend the mother's day with their mommys'. Sounds absurd, huh?? Like 'oh, get out of prison and then come back'. But that was only the beginning.

There is this criminal organization self-entitled PCC (Primeiro Comando da Capital/ Capital's First Command), and they control organized crime from inside the jails.

So they commanded series of attacks to police stations,
buses, subways, banks and other places, and rebellions at the jails.

From now the counting of deaths is around 50 cops, 39 otlaws, some firemen and some civilians, in an amount of
more than 90 killings.

There have been more than 70 buses burned, and they shot
a subway outside with a machine gun.

I was at work, and I had to go home around 3:30 pm (my
usual time is 8 pm) because everybody was afraid. The
stores and schools closed. I got the subway normally, but when I came to the bus terminal, there was such a mess to get in the buses, with no lines, just people screaming and pushing to get inside, that I had to take a cab to get home, and even that took me around half an hour.

We are in the borderline of a civil war.

I'm sorry for the bad english, I just never covered this
kind of subject and with this mood.
