Sigh, I wish I could afford a therapist. Just once (or a few times, really), it would be nice to be able to just unload on someone. It would especially be nice to do so without worrying about judgment being passed. One thing that's always been missing from my life is someone I can just completely open up to.
Well fuck, I just lost my best friend indefinitely. The ex dropped by tonight to tell me that she's still not over me (and broke up with her boyfriend of several months because of it) and that she needs minimal contact with me for as long as it takes for her to sort herself out.

It's almost hard to believe that it's been nearly three months since my last entry. I started and then scrapped probably at least a couple dozen entries, but never was satisfied. I'm kind of anal about my writing - most of it strikes me as insufficiently expressive and/or overly self-indulgent - so most of it gets thrown out the window.

Yesterday I finally was able to get through to the property manager for Midtown Crossing, and turned in my application and paid my deposit. So, barring any unforeseen problems, I should be set for a new apartment in December! They might not have it ready until the second, rather than the first, of the month, but that shouldn't create any problems. I'm fucking stoked.
