Yeah, I know you're diggin' the freshly dyed, faux-pompadoured hairstyle.
With the exception of heading to my Death & Dying class this morning for an hour, I've been lounging around the house in my SG shirt and pajama shorts all day long. Being lazy is exhilirating.
Thanks to the fickle nature of Hurricane Ophelia, which is currently in a standstill 70 miles off the coast of Cape Canaveral, we're getting some of the lovliest weather we've had in a while. The air is cool and crisp, the breeze constant. Occasionally, the wind will kick up and I'll catch myself actually shivering. In Florida. Mid-September.
The sudden temperature shift also makes me want to write more. There's just something about cool air and the threat of rain that makes me want to scrawl and scrawl and scrawl. Maybe I'll share a little something next entry.
I'm so sad/miffed/pissed that both Sicily and Dusty left the site this week. They are both such beautiful, strong, independent women, and I really admired the pride and confidence they exuded in their pictures. I'm certainly going to miss their presences on te site.
I've got no huge social engagements this weekend, so if anyone wants to head out or just get together for some coffee and small talk, let me know.
For now, check out some pictures of my new hair color. My original plan was to bleach it, dye half white courtesy of toner, and the underside would be purple, but that didn't work out. First off, I left the bleach on the maximum amount of time, and some of the black streaks STILL didn't bleach out. I kind of expected that though. Then, the toner didn't do jack shit. I should have known when the woman at Sally's didn't know what the fuck she was talking about. Long story short, I scrapped my idea, mixed some of my hair colors together, and presto--sassy fucking hair:
My hair looks slightly nappy in this picture. Perhaps as a result from frying the shit out of it, thanks to my good friend bleach?
....and this is me looking like a crazy cartoon character.

I am looking for 4 hours total shoot, let me know if these dates/times sound feasible. Also, I will get back with everyone regarding a rehearsal dates (or dates if not all can attend at the same time) prior to the shoot. I will keep in touch, hopefully with a definite soon.
