Spring break is officially over
First off, the Keys were AMAZING...such good times with good friends and my awesome boy ♥
We had an adorable little efficiency room right on the beach--it even had a balcony! The boys grilled us steaks, shrimp, and chicken for dinner each night while me and my girlyfriend played Suzie Homemaker and made side dishes and Kool-Aid
We layed on the beach, soaked up some sun (don't worry, I wore sunscreen!), splashed in the freezing water, and played a whole lot of card games. I learned Gin Rummy and Spades, which are both confusing yet addicting games...I want to play now!
We also went to Key West one day, which was fun but a lot different from what I remembered. Lots of shopping...there was one little shop that baked 1/2 pound chocolate chip cookies that looked mighty tempting, but we resisted in order to gorge on Key Lime Pie later that night ♥
Four days and three nights away from the business of life and lazing around the Keys with good friends and my amazing boypants was simply not long enough. I definately wasn't ready to come back to civilization.
PhotoJoe was so kind and volunteered to drive home when my eyes were bothering me, so I spent the 8 1/2 hours in the car from Marathon to Orlando reading Jenna Jameson's memoir, How to Make Love Like a Porn Star. It was definately a great read, and I definately recommend it to anyone...for those who scoff at the 577 pages, I assure you that its' packed with enough nudie-pix to make it bearable
We crashed Wednesday night after coming home to a torrential downpour accompanied by 60 mph winds...oh yes, and hail! We watched American Psycho (oh boy I love that movie...feed me a stray cat.) and watched a program on the History Channel about the world's most deadly weapons..quality relationship bonding time! ♥
We ventured back to Tampa on Thursday, where I spent quality time with the parents and puppies for a while before the boy came back over and took some pictures of the newest addition to my family. Observe:
This is ye olde dog, Marbles. No, he is not a bear. Nope, not a yak, either. He's a dog. Trust me on this one.
I'd like to introduce you to the most adorable puppy ever, Brusier.
"Love me!"
"Please love me? Pretty please?"
You know you can't resist those puppy dog eyes. I know you can't!
BAHAHAHA best picture ever!
I think he wore himself out.
He wore me out, too!
Tons and tons of super fun puppy time basically consumed this weekend. Throw in a little of me missing the boy because he's visiting his grandparents in Georgia, as well as a smidge of me hanging with my parents, and there's my spring break in a nutshell. All in all, I'd have to say it was a success
I got the suprise of a livetime today...would you just look at what the beautiful and talented Enola drew for me last night?
Holy fucking shit. How beautiful is that? I love her, go give her millions of kisses for her amazing artistry
Here's another shot of that lovely pic she drew:
Ahh. She's so great. ♥ ♥ ♥
Well, I'm off to go see a free midnight show at Park Avenue CDs in Winter Park...Copeland is playing and I love me some of them
I love you all! ♥
